Overview

Technology and data is a window through which we can see a true reflection of a company's marketing/sales execution and results. It’s free of the anecdote that clouds complex enterprise operations. The Enterprise Technology Strategy & Design team eliminates the anecdote with truth and charts the path to growth. We partner with our enterprise clients ($1B+ annual revenue)  to identify opportunities, design strategies, and project impact. Our projects result in strategic growth opportunities and efficiency enhancements that change enterprise outcomes. We deliver uncommon growth with uncommon capability. 

As a Sr. Strategist, you are responsible for partnering with C-Suite and Executive Leadership to define creative technology and data strategies that result in uncommon growth. You will lead assessments, define strategic growth opportunities, document structure and hierarchy, design solutions and lead the client through complex technology and data projects. 

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. It does however require cross functional leadership across both client and internal project teams. The ideal candidate is a Sr. Manager or above with successful growth consulting experience and a solid Tech/ Martech / Salestech background.

Responsibilities  

  • Assess and map client marketing and sales technologies
  • Lead strategy project planning and scoping exercises
  • Conduct in depth discovery
  • Lead client meetings
  • Architect growth and efficiency technology and data solutions
  • Develop business / project requirements
  • Identify technology, data, people, process gaps and opportunities
  • Develop ROI strategies and models
  • Create readout and proposal presentations
  • Consult & Influence Executive / Sr. Executive leaders
  • Work cross-functionally with other Shift practices to grow and develop opportunities
  • Track/report time and outputs
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Gain technology / partner certifications
  • Stay up to date with the latest in technological trends

Qualifications/Experience 

  • 5+ years business growth consulting experience
  • 5+ years in a leadership role (Sr. Manager / Director) 
  • 5-10 years SaaS & Data Systems technology experience (Martech / Salestech experience a plus) 
  • Experience leading and building engagements worth $1M+ 
  • Demonstrable successful experience identifying and developing business cases to support technological efficiency in excess of $1M
  • Demonstrable experience developing strategies that yielded > $2M revenue growth
  • Successful experience influencing and consulting Sr. Executives
  • Deep understanding of business and growth levers
  • Pitch / story development experience
  • ROI model / development experience
  • Strong understanding of technological architectures and interoperability
  • Marketing background preferred

As required by law, Shift Paradigm provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, New Jersey or Washington. The salary range for these residents is $125,000.00 to $165,000.00. Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to role, skillset, relevant education, level of experience, certifications, etc. In addition to base salary, Shift Paradigm offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, Life/AD&D, Flexible Paid Time Off, and various other ancillary benefits and perks.
