About SH/FT

Shift Paradigm is an execution-led strategic consultancy that bridges the gap between enterprise strategy and technical reality. We partner with Fortune 500 brands and emerging leaders to solve the inherent complexity of modern digital marketing. As partners to the world’s leading MarTech platforms, including Adobe, Salesforce, Optimizely, and Braze, we deploy integrated experts across data analytics, marketing strategy, technology development, engineering, and revenue operations to ensure our clients’ tech stacks don't just exist, but perform.

The Role

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Technical Delivery Management to lead our Product Owner team and serve as the connective tissue between client needs, delivery execution, and team development. This is a player-coach role: you will carry a portion of billable client work while leading a small team and contributing to the operational health of the broader delivery organization.

You will report to and work closely with our Head of PM/PO to build a practice that reflects where our business is going. We are moving deeper into SaaS and platform-based engagements across tools like Adobe Experience Cloud and Salesforce, and this role is central to how we get there. We are looking for someone who is as comfortable sitting across from a client defining scope as they are running a team retrospective or onboarding a new hire.

What You'll Own

  • Scoping and discovery: Support discovery sessions with clients and internal stakeholders to define requirements, write assumptions to protect the scope, translate needs into actionable scopes of work, and develop SOWs that protect both client outcomes and margin.
  • Team leadership: Manage and develop a small team of Product Owners. Run team meetings, set performance expectations, support career development, and build the skills the team needs to evolve with our business.
  • Client delivery: Carry a portion of billable work as a practicing PM/PO on active client engagements. The split between direct delivery and leadership will flex based on business need, but we anticipate this role to be 70% billable.
  • Practice infrastructure: Build and maintain the documentation, templates, job aids, and onboarding materials the team needs to operate consistently.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Work alongside PMs, engineering leads, business operations strategy, and client partners to align on delivery approach, flag risks early, and drive resolution on personnel and process issues that cross team lines.
  • Hiring and onboarding: Participate in the hiring process for future technical delivery roles and own the onboarding experience for new team members.

What You Bring

Experience & Expertise
  • Experience leading delivery in a consultancy or agency context. You understand what it means to scope billable work, manage client expectations, support roadmap expansion, and protect margin.
  • Account health ownership. You have experience managing the financial performance of client engagements, not just the delivery timeline. You track budget burn against actuals, flag scope creep before it erodes margin, and you surface financial risk to leadership early, with context and a recommended path forward.
  • Web, Platform and SaaS delivery experience. You have led or supported website builds, migrations and feature development, as well as implementations on platforms like Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce, or comparable enterprise SaaS environments. You do not need to be a technical expert, but you need to speak the language and understand how these engagements are structured.
  • A background that spans both PM and PO. You are not locked into one methodology. You write requirements, manage backlogs, and run projects. You adapt the approach to the work, not the other way around, and take full ownership of your clients projects.
  • Scoping and SOW experience. You have written or meaningfully contributed to scopes of work in a client-facing setting. You know how work gets priced and where projects go sideways when scope is not defined well.
  • People leadership experience. You have managed or mentored practitioners in a delivery context, and you understand that developing people is part of the job, not a distraction from it.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in product ownership, delivery management, or a comparable role, with at least 2 years in a client-facing consultancy environment.
Mindset
  • You are a builder. You are comfortable walking into a project team that needs structure and creating it rather than waiting for it to arrive.
  • You lead through clarity. Clients and teammates know where things stand with you. You surface problems early and bring options, not just issues.
  • You are flexible without being formless. You have strong opinions about how good delivery works, and you can adapt how you apply them to different clients, platforms, and team dynamics.
  • You do not need a large team or a fully defined playbook to be effective. You are energized by building the thing, not just running it.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with your experience and impact
  • Remote flexibility
  • Collaborative culture that values diverse perspectives and innovative thinking
  • Work that makes a measurable difference for your clients

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
