The Opportunity:

In this role, you will serve as a trusted client point person, owning multiple concurrent projects and campaign workstreams from start to finish. You’ll lead cross-functional teams through complex scopes, balancing structure and speed while ensuring high-quality delivery across timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

You will manage end-to-end execution for one of our client’s most successful and engaging early onboarding email channels, overseeing monthly content and creative development, testing documentation, deployment readiness, and performance analysis. Working closely with a multi-disciplined team, you’ll track and manage content and creative through reviews, approvals, and distribution of final assets—bringing exceptional attention to detail to ensure high-quality work every time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning multiple projects and campaign workstreams simultaneously, driving execution from planning through launch and analysis
  • Leading internal and external daily scrums and bi-weekly client status meetings
  • Creating timelines, maintaining project plans, and ensuring clear documentation across deliverables
  • Scoping and resourcing projects, collaborating with PM peers to ensure the right team is aligned to each engagement
  • Proactively identifying and resolving risks, dependencies, and blockers before they impact delivery
  • Operating within rigid Fortune 500 processes while keeping pace with rapid internal execution, tailoring project methodology to fit each engagement
  • Monitoring project health, resource capacity, and profitability by tracking time, burn rates, and budget adherence
  • Escalating risks, overages, and delivery concerns early to ensure projects stay on track
  • Supporting email testing and QA efforts, including creating testing documentation and assisting in deployment readiness

Success in this role means building strong client relationships, staying highly organized across multiple deliverables, solving problems quickly and confidently, and pushing both internal teams and client partners toward revenue-driving goals.

You will report directly to the Senior Director of Project Management.

Must-Have Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience in fast-paced, agile environments (agency, consulting, or digital marketing)
  • Proven expertise in email marketing as a performance-driven channel. You understand lifecycle strategy, personalization, and how email drives revenue
  • Hands-on experience with project portfolio management (PPM) tools and enterprise email service providers (ESPs)
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Suite
  • Effective time-management skills

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Financial services sector experience (banking, credit cards, investments)
  • Experience with Movable Ink (we can train on this)

This is a remote 1099 independent contract position with an initial engagement term of six months. The compensation range for this role is $75–$90 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates must be available to work during Eastern Time Zone business hours.
