Overview

The Director, Revenue Operations Strategy is a role at the forefront of helping enterprise marketing and sales teams scale smarter. You’ll lead a team of expert consultants, shape modern marketing operations and RevOps solutions, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior client stakeholders to drive measurable impact. We’re looking for a candidate who is a team builder, and brings a strong command of revenue operations, comfort with marketing and sales technology, and a strategic mindset for solving complex business challenges. 

Responsibilities

As a strategic advisor, you’ll lead solution design and delivery across marketing, sales, and revenue operations. You’ll work directly with enterprise clients to identify growth barriers, align stakeholders, and architect strategies that drive impact.

  • Lead operations assessments and translate findings into actionable strategies and executive-ready presentations.
  • Design end-to-end marketing and sales operations solutions—from lead management to campaign workflows to enablement programs and playbooks.
  • As an ops pro, act as a bridge between strategy and technology teams to guide technical requirements for selecting and implementing MAPs, CRMs, sales enablement tools, attribution tools and other platforms. 
  • Define KPIs and reporting frameworks to reveal performance gaps and optimization opportunities.
  • Create business cases that demonstrate ROI and support client-side stakeholder alignment and investment.
  • Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and enablement engagements that drive clarity, adoption, and sustainable success.
  • Stay current on trends and emerging tech across marketing, sales, and revenue operations, and bring those insights to bear in your solutions. 

Team Leadership and Maturity

  • Oversee the performance, utilization, and professional growth of a high-performing team of consultants.
  • Provide actionable feedback to improve team competencies and consulting effectiveness.
  • Establish and refine department methodologies, frameworks, processes, and training programs. 
  • Collaborates with leadership to optimize and expand service offerings, ensuring competitive differentiation, particularly in defining how the team leverages AI solutions. 
  • Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in business development pitches.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in operations roles supporting revenue-focused teams (marketing, sales, RevOps, or customer success), with increasing responsibility.
  • Prior consulting experience working with enterprise clients.
  • Deep, practical understanding of marketing and sales technologies, including:
  • Marketing automation (e.g., Marketo, SFMC)
  • CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
  • ABM and intent platforms (e.g., 6sense, Demandbase)
  •  CDPs, conversational chat, campaign ops
  • Analytics and attribution tools (e.g., Marketo Measure, CaliberMind, GA)
  • Demonstrated success improving revenue processes and leading cross-functional change with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience defining KPIs and building reporting frameworks to tie marketing and sales activities to business outcomes.
  • Strong process design skills—able to build, optimize, and scale new functional workflows.
  • Proven problem solver with ability to recommend clear action plans.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments with a high level of precision.
  • Strong team leader and coach—committed to mentoring and developing talent.
  • Clear communicator with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and accountable. Able to manage workload independently and prioritize effectively.
  • Able to flex with changing needs, connect work to outcomes, and support client decision-making.

As required by law, Shift Paradigm provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, New Jersey or Washington. The salary range for these residents is $160,000.00 to $170,000.00. Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to role, skillset, relevant education, level of experience, certifications, etc. In addition to base salary, Shift Paradigm offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, Life/AD&D, Flexible Paid Time Off, and various other ancillary benefits and perks.
