Overview

We’re searching for an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our team and support business growth. This position will play a critical role in identifying, sourcing and attracting potential clients - who are in need of the services SH/FT offers to promote and drive business growth. In addition, you’ll need strong persuasion skills to turn prospects into qualified leads. Our ideal candidate is someone who has 1-3 years of inside sales experience, and looking to move to the next level of sales in a technical setting with either software companies, agencies or consultancies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Craft relevant and compelling cold outreach messages to identified POC’s within target accounts
  • Partner with GTM and sales enablement team members to develop targeted campaigns (e.g. email cadences) to key segments
  • Continuously sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Listening for potential client buying signals
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate AEs for further development and closure
  • Achieve monthly <> quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects,utilizing all forms of information possible.
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Support pre-meeting preparation in concert with the respective Growth Advisor (Account Executive) 
  • Conduct and facilitate effective first call meetings with prospects alongside assigned Growth Advisor (Account Executive)

Experience/Qualifications

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone/virtual meeting presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Experience working with Salesloft or similar cadence tools
  • Experience working with Zoominfo or similar data enrichment tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • AA/AS/BA/BS degree or equivalent
